De Smokkelmolen is a luxury Bed and Breakfast that is situated in a 500-year-old water mill on the border of Maastricht. Located in a green oasis of peace, the warm valley of the Jeker River, the northernmost wine-growing region of eurospe. Right outside this attractive monument, restored in 2016, you can spend hours walking or cycling in nature. The lively and convivial atmosphere of the city centre of Maastricht is only 10 minutes away. Our sunny terrace along the water offers uninterrupted views of the valley while we generate sustainable energy with our water wheel. On Sunday afternoon, the miller will show you how me mill wheat the traditional way.
